Kay defeated Nikki Roxx at Shine 10's web-based pay-perview event in May 2013, in the match which qualified her to compete in an appearance at the Shine Championship. Lexie Fyfe suspended Kay for interference in a match scheduled to take place against Angelina Love and Rain, Kay's partner. Kay returned to Shine 13 where she teamed up with Ivelisse to beat Amazing Kong and Jessicka havok.
