She was the captain of both the 2012 "Fierce Five" and 2016 "Final Five" U.S. women's Olympic gymnastics teams that took home their respective teams competitions.At the 2012 Olympics in London she won gold medals in both team and floor competitions, in addition to the bronze medal for the balance beam, which made her the most decorated American gymnast of the Games. In the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, she was awarded a gold medal in the team event as well as teammates Gabby Douglas and Gabby Douglas the sole Americans who have won back-to-back team gold medals. Raisman also took home silver in the individual all-around and for floor exercise. Raisman was awarded silver medals in the individual all-around, and also for the floor exercise. She has also been two-time champion at national level on floor exercise (2012 in 2012 and 2015), the 2012 champion of the national team on the balance beam and five times medalist in the all-around event at the national championships (silver in 2016, and bronze in 2011 and also in 2015). She was inducted into International Jewish Sports Hall of Fame (2013).
